Apologies for inability to attend the meeting were received from Councillor Foster-Reed and Honorary Freeman O’Neill.

COUNCIL RESOLVED: That the Minutes of the meeting of the Council held on 9 October 2019 be confirmed and signed.

The Mayor invited Sarah Hirom to address the Council and present a certificate for the Borough’s renewed ‘Fairtrade Status’.

The Mayor congratulated Debbie Gore on her appointment as Assistant to the chief Executive.

The Mayor also advised that the open doors project supporting the homeless would be being held in January and that a fundraising fashion show would be held on the 24 January at HMS Sultan.
